About us

Old Parola Seaside Cottages" is a family-run beachfront inn and restaurant on Sabang Beach, right next to Baler's oldest lighthouse. It features 6 air-conditioned cottages with en suite toilet and shower good for 2 persons, 2 fambam fan rooms with en suite toilet each of which can accommodate 10 persons, and a barkada fan room ideal for groups of up to 15 persons. "The Shack," the in-house restaurant, serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, and offers a special menu for vegetarians.

You'll simply be back, again and again.

If you want simply the basics, then this is the place for you. Those who would prefer a more modern way of life should look elsewhere, as Old Parola would like you to enjoy and savour idyllic Baler at its most pristine. The staff have been consistently friendly and accommodating; the place is well-kept. Lor, the generous owner, is still passionate with her love of Baler; while Olaf the Dog still cuddles with you whenever he's not busy roaming around. This is my third visit with them. My fourth will be soon, definitely. :-)

Baler Experience

I booked last February as a wedding gift for my friend. However there daughter got sick and wasn't able to go to baler. So i decided to contact them and informed to reschedule the booking. Gladly, the owner is so nice and agreed to reschedule the booking. Me and my friends decided to go to baler last May for my birthday celebration. It was nice. The owner is kind and very understanding. She gave us a room in front of the beach but its raining and hassle to go there. we asked her to change the room to much nicer and she agreed without paying for additional price.
