worth the trip

heard so many stories and now iv see the location its hard to imagine the volume of destruction it caused. nice gift shops around and if you know what your looking for you can grab a bargain, the ATV sales guys do your head in as they follow you around like a blow fly. No means NO

Beauty is on the eyes of beholder.... my eyes appreciate the historical and natural view.

I’ve read mixed reviews of but it all depends on how you appreciate historical sites and natural views. We came to the site after the ATV black lava wall activity just around the corner. ATVs are not allowed within the site and is justified. There are a lot of people offering to take photo illusions for donation amount, but we gave more to the guy for having the photos turn out really good and cool. There is entrance fee to site, can’t recall if 20 or 40 pesos, but worth it. There are food concessions and souvineer stores on site and restroom for 10 pesos. There are tricycles at the entrance which we took to the highway and rode jeepney to rest of our exploration to the Kawa Kawa mountain. Highly recommended to visit.

History is told

Though Mt Mayon was hiding in the clouds, the Cagsawa remains a constant reminder to everyone of the force mightier than all of us. Hoping the preservation for this structure and park be in full force.

Must see when going to Legazpi

Great for photo souvenirs. The site has many photographers with many trick shots. Gives the visitor an idea of the might of Mt. Mayon. Many stalls offer varieties of pili nuts,and local Bicol handycrafts with occasional fruit in season.
