Missing nature? Visit Balay Buhay sa Uma
Visited this place last June 2017, first I contacted them through facebook and confirm them the booking. They asked for 50% downpayment and since I was busy was not able to do it until our visit. Extremely happy to know that even though I didn't pay and i was not reachable via phone they still manage to prepare our lunch. Food was tasty, delicious and well presented. The function area is big, clean, well-lit up, refreshing with all the narra tables and chairs around. The whole area is around 3.5hectares and its all green - kalamansi tree, passion fruit you name it. The food they prepared for us were all organic freshly harvested from their farm. It is so relaxing, refreshing and the place is so calm you can forget all the buzz and busyness of city life...something that i really wanted to experience during my short holiday. The pool located at the end of the area is so cold, clean and refreshing...water is coming directly from the mountain (Mt. Bulusan). You will some nipa Hut around the pool area where you can sit, relax and listen to the water flow and birds chirping. You can lie down on their outdoor bed and gaze at the blue sky. You have an option to stay overnight in one of their nipa huts (with or without aircondition) in a very affordable price either for group or couple or family. By the way I only paid Php 4500 for us all (10pax) inclusive of the food, use of facilities, entrance fee. And the food they provide is more than enough we even had a take out. Will definitely visit again on my next holiday. …
Large family stayed in dorm accommodation 16 people mattress on the floor very comfortable, spotlessly clean, fantastic cold spring pool with beautiful gardens surroundings very helpful staff, dinner, breakfast & snacks all catered for very professional resort & value for money, loved the bee hives although not many bee's around in the cooler months made up with butterflies everywhere. Had an absolutely fantastic stay with lots of fun. Thank you Balay Buhay for the memories salamat.
