Artista Beach Villas

Very good place. Artista village resort located in uniq place in Dinwid beach. Wonderful sea view from hotel room. Amazing beach bad with mattress and pillow. Two types of breakfast, eggs or oatmeal. Lovely atmosphere. I love this place.

We had such a magical stay at Artista. We initially had booked one week but ended up extending to two, as we were so happy there. Located on Diniwid Beach, which is a much quieter spot, preferable over the stations if you want a peaceful trip. A short walk from Spider House, a great spot for food and watching the sunset and about 30min walk back down to station 1-2 where the bars and restaurants are. A few shops nearby and close to a tricycle stop so it’s easy to get anywhere quickly. You can also rent paddle boards etc from just outside the hotel. The staff are truly outstanding, really welcoming and helpful. Especially Aleli the manager, who we spoke to every day and helped us with things to do/where to go. The staff and security on the evenings were also really sweet. They even helped us learn a bit of Filipino. Rooms were a really good size. We were initially in a larger room for the first week, and moved to a smaller one for our second, which we actually preferred. It opened right out onto the sea front and had its own chairs outside. The hotel also has its own sun beds which are located literally on the sea front, and they supply beach towels. The bathrooms are separated by a privacy curtain, but this didn’t bother us - and the shower/toilet area is a wet room. Showers are wonderful, pressurised and hot. Rooms are cleaned every day and fresh drinking water restocked. The whole place was always really clean. Breakfast was included and there was a nice selection of American (bacon and eggs) or Swiss (muesli) or fruit pancakes and tea and coffee. Super grateful for such a wonderful stay.
